Now in its 6th year, Sculpture Tucson’s Annual Sculpture Festival Show & Sale is a juried show of sculpture set to take place March 28, 29 and 30, 2025 in Brandi Fenton Memorial Park. The event gathers artists from around the country to display and sell their work in a captivating setting. Only original, non-functional, 3-dimensional work may be submitted. Whether you work with stone, metal, wood, glass, or any other medium, we welcome your unique vision and craftsmanship. All 3-dimensional works of art submitted by an artist or authorized gallery must be original and will be made by an independent art curator. Painting, photography, prints or any 2- dimensional work will NOT be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY
Applications are open internationally to all sculptors. Local and regional sculptors are particularly encouraged to apply. Travel, transportation, and accommodations are the responsibility of the artist.

REQUIREMENTS TO SUBMIT

​

SCULPTURE ONLY: The only art form accepted for the Annual Sculpture Tucson Festival Show & Sale is sculpture (three-dimensional artwork) deemed appropriate by Sculpture Tucson. Up to 15 pieces of sculpture may be for sale per artist at any one time. Artists must submit their own work. Artists are required to submit a completed application online no later than 11:59 PM PST, November 30, 2024.
To apply you must include the following:
1. Completed Online Application Form
2. Up to 5 Images
3. Image List including dimensions, materials used, any special requirements, and price of each piece.
4. Artist Statement: No more than 3 sentences (250 words or less).
5. Artist Resume/CV

 

SELECTION
All applications will be reviewed by Sculpture Tucson’s selection committee which includes recognized sculptors and juror. Submitting artists will be notified by phone and/or email by  Sculpture Tucson of their acceptance December 30, 2024.

SELECTED ARTISTS

 

Selection Process: Each application will require photos of original art that will be featured in the 2025 Festival Show & Sale with the cost of each piece. Our jury will review all submissions and select artists based on the quality, originality, and creativity of their sculptures. Selected artists will be notified by December 30, 2024.

 

Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of $150 is required for each artist that is juried into the show. This fee helps cover the cost of event logistics, marketing, and promotional efforts to ensure a successful festival.

 

​• Individual Sculptors who are available to attend the duration of the show and are juried and accepted to participate will be charged a $150 booth fee.

​

• Individual Sculptors who are not available to attend the duration of the show and are juried and accepted to participate will be charged a $200 booth fee. You will still be responsible for having your space attended to for the duration of the show. 

​

• Galleries who would like to exhibit and who are juried and accepted to participate will be charged a $250 booth fee and will be placed in a 20’ x 15’ booth. You will be responsible for manning your space for the duration of the show. 

 

• Up to three pedestals will be provided to participating artists.

 

• Additional pedestals may be rented from Sculpture Tucson for $20/pedestal IF available.

 

• Artists are encouraged to provide their own WHITE ONLY pedestals.

 

• All tents will be lit for the Friday night reception at no cost to the artist.

 

• Electricity will be available for a limited number of individual booths at a cost of $30.

 

• Grid walls (7’x8’) may be rented from Sculpture Tucson for $30/grid. A maximum of 2 are available in 6 spaces only, so first come, first served for corner booths. All other booths will accomodate 1 grid.

 

• Artists are responsible for transport of all sculpture to the site. Special requirements by the artist may be discussed with Sculpture Tucson. Special requirements should be indicated on the Application Form as specified.

 

• Artists who are selected to participate will agree to the use of their submitted images by  Sculpture Tucson for the promotion of the Annual Sculpture Tucson Festival Show & Sale in digital as well as printed materials. 

 

FEES

All sales transactions at the Annual Sculpture Tucson Festival Show & Sale will be processed by Sculpture Tucson. Sculpture Tucson will retain 30% commission on all sales made during the festival. Sculpture Tucson will retain 15% commission on all sales made within 90 days after the festival to patrons of the festival. The retained commissions will be used to cover overhead costs and further the mission, vision and goals of Sculpture Tucson. 

 

SERViceS

• Sculpture Tucson will produce all digital and print marketing materials for distribution to regional and national mass media and community outlets. A brochure of participating artists will be available at the Annual Sculpture Tucson Festival Show & Sale. 

 

• Sculpture Tucson will provide each participating artist with one 10 ft. x 15 ft. space under a communal tent. A maximum of 65 large sculptures will be selected to show in a common area outside of designated 10’ x 15’ tent spaces.

 

• Sculpture Tucson will provide each participating artist with up to 3 pedestals for presenting their work. Artists are encouraged to provide their own WHITE ONLY pedestals. 

 

Large Sculpture

Sculpture Tucson encourages participants to exhibit large sculpture. If you intend to exhibit large sculpture that requires special assistance to place, please indicate that on the artist’s Application  Form, so that we can arrange for crane or forklift assistance.
